The fund is needed to promote alumni activities with the community, open up opportunities for alumni to contribute back to the university in a variety of services and to foster a range of training and development plans managed by alumni.

UNIMAS currently has 59,994 alumni.  The number has grown steadily over the years, and this has directly increased the potential of human capital that can be used for the development and well-being of future generations
